چکیده

Bacterial strains D11, E1 and E2 isolated from petroleum-contaminated soils were found to be members of Acinetobacter genus revealed by 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis phenotypic characteristics. After incubation for 5 days, about 43%, 9% 12% total petroleum hydrocarbons crude oil degraded E2, respectively, determined GC-MS analysis. Moreover, 70% 76% single hydrocarbon hexadecane was the D11 after 3 days short time, while strain 48% pentadecane. By using PCR-based method, sequences shown similarity alkane 1-monooxygenases sp. BUU8 alkM with 93.06% 92.72%, 95.84% sp.826659. The present study biodegradation may provide a good advantage in bioremediation process.

Isolation of hydrocarbon degrading bacteria from soils contaminated with crude oil spills.

A feasibility study was conducted to evaluate the capability of bacterial strains to degrade crude oil under in vitro conditions. Pseudomonas strain PS-I could degrade alkanes (70.69%) and aromatics (45.37%). Alkanes and aromatic fractions separated by column chromatography were analyzed by gas chromatography. In case of Pseudomonas strain PS-I, nC17/Pr, nC18/Ph ratios decreased from 2.5100 to ...

identification of hydrocarbon degrading bacteria genus from oil-crude contaminated soils

background: long-term extraction and production of various oil derivatives causes contamination of soil adjacent to production and refining area. the main important issue is the ecological hazard of these pollutants. the main aim of the study was to identify and separate native bacteria that are responsible for degradation of oil contaminated fields. methods: we prepared a compound sample of co...

Investigation of Hydrocarbon-degrading Microbial Communities of Petroleum Hydrocarbon Contaminated Soils in Harghita County, Romania

Microorganisms able to degrade hydrocarbon pollutants (gasoline, and other petroleum derivatives) have been isolated from two contaminated areas (Sândominic and Bălan) by enrichment technique. The hydrocarbon degradative capacity of contaminated sites were determined using “Biometer flasks” (respiratory CO2 production measurement). Total counts and hydrocarbon degrading counts were determined u...

Isolation and characterization of diesel-degrading Pseudomonas strains from diesel-contaminated soils in Iran (Fars province)

In this study, among the 21 diesel-degrading bacteria that were isolated from an oil-polluted area in Fars (Iran), 6 bacterial strains were tested for their capability to metabolize and grow on diesel oil by degrading its hydrocarbons content. The biochemical characteristics and 16S rRNA sequence analysis of diesel-degrading bacteria showed that these strains were related to the genus Pseudomon...

Isolation of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon Degrading Bacterial Strains Isolated from Indigenous Microbial Communities of Petroleum Contaminated Soils

Soil and sludge samples polluted with petroleum waste from Cairo Oil Refining Company Mostorod, Qalyubia, Egypt for more than 41 years were used for isolation of indigenous microbial communities. These communities were grown on seven polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon compounds (naphthalene(Naph.), phenanthrene (Phen.), anthracene (Anth.), fluorancene (Flu.), acenaphthene (Acen.), pyrene (Pyr.) an...
